Healthy Living Projects’ experience of working with Felton Fundraising

We asked Phil Herbert, of Healthy Living Projects about his experience of working with Felton Fundraising over the last 30 years, this is what he had to say:

How long have you been working with Felton Fundraising?

Since December 2005 so nearly 20 years.

What have you most valued about your partnership with Felton Fundraising?

Apart from the considerable amount of funding that the team have generated, it has been invaluable to be able to rely on their experience in the charitable sector. Richard and I have had many heart to heart discussions about work, life, faith and the sector we operate in. He has been a great source of encouragement and inspiration to me.

What have you been able to achieve because of the partnership?

Our Day Centre has flourished due mainly to the funding that Felton’s have secured, we have been able to focus on Female Homelessness with a 7 year grant and the continuous employment of a Support Worker with 9 year grant. Funding for Capital projects such as I.T. equipment as well as funding for Core Costs to keep the lights ON. With the funding they’ve secured, we have reached out to literally thousands of homeless people in desperate need over the years and made a positive impact on their lives. It’s fair to say that with their support, we have saved countless lives and set many people back on the path to purposeful living.

Describe your experience of working with Felton Fundraising

For us, there has always been a synergy between our organisations, I think because our values are aligned and we feel that our needs are understood by Richard and the team.

A good example of this is the recent endorsement by a major funder to become a Legacy Partner and to receive a Gift of £125,000 towards our running costs.

Fundraiser, Alison Cooper played a major part in writing the proposal and spent many hours poring over the right words and phrases that would appeal to the reader and show our project in the best possible light. We are grateful to her and the whole team for their professional help and support enabling us to get on with the work we are passionate about, turning people’s lives around.

So a huge thank you for all your support and congratulations on 30 amazing years of Fund Raising.
